In July-August 2009 LLC «Modul» made a lot of efforts in shipment to Ceylon expensive long-length pipes of small diameter of titanium alloys in wooden boxes over 14 m long. Pipes were manufactures at VSMPO AVISMA of Verkhnyaya Salda town.

In order to ensure high quality and safety of the cargo delivery to the consignee the boxes were loaded into special metal and were delivered to terminal logistic complex «Predportovy».

After outloading from cars the racks were installed onto special extension means FLAT RACK and then were delivered to the port by road to load onto a container ship.

This technology of transshipment of long-length and expensive pipes of small diameter of titanium alloys with the use of metal racks and extension FLAT RACK allowed to ensure high quality and safe loading and shipment of the whole lot of cargo on containerships, to redue significantly costs for loading and unloading works, and also to speed up the delivery to the consignee.
