Railway station

Operation of the terminal is maintained by the railway station “Predportovaja” owing to trip working of inward and outward container trains 20’ and 40’ containers and as well as to receiving and sending the all-purpose rolling stock with general cargo (open-top wagons, covered wagons e t.c.)

High road

«MODUL» TLС has a vivid advantage of easy reach. The main approach road - the 7th Predportovy drive - links the Terminal to Pulkovskoe shosse - the main traffic artery of St.Petersburg and ensures prompt approach to the sea port infrastructure as well as unhindered access to the main regional roads and aircargo terminals.

BULK CARGO TRANSSHIPMENT FACILITY

The Facility was designed for transshipment of bulk cargo from rail transport (hopper wagons, open wagons) into 20’and 40’ high-capacity containers both in bulk and with prior packaging into bags and FIBCs (big bags).

Several reach stackers with lifting capacity of 13 and 45 tons and shunting locomotives are in operation at the facility to handle containerized bulk cargo.

In order to provide rational organization of mineral fertilizers transshipment the contiguous open storage area has space for high-capacity container stacks (empty and laden), and is potentially capable to store essential amounts of containers. Besides, rail infrastructure inside and outside of the Terminal enables receiving trains fully loaded with mineral fertilizers

Once or twice a day a container train is maid up on the territory of the terminal complex to deliver goods to ports of St.Petersburg.

Transshipment technological solutions:

  • «Hopper-Wagon - Facility - High-Capacity Containers /bulk » - 120 tons/hour;
  • • «Hopper-Wagon – Facility – Packaging into big bags – Forklift - High-Capacity Containers » - 55 tons/hour;
  • • «Hopper-Wagon – Facility – Packaging into bags – Forklift - High-Capacity Containers » - 40 tons/hour.
